To integrate your ActiveCampaign account with third-party tools like a Chrome extension, you will need to access your API key and API URL. This guide explains how to easily locate both in your ActiveCampaign account.
Steps to Access Your API Key in ActiveCampaign
- Log into Your ActiveCampaign Account
Go to ActiveCampaign and sign in with your credentials. - Navigate to the Settings Menu
In the lower-left corner of the ActiveCampaign dashboard, click on the Settings (gear icon) to open the account settings. - Go to the Developer Settings
Once in the Settings menu, scroll down and select Developer. This is where you’ll find both the API key and the API URL. - Copy the API Key and API URL
Under the Developer section, you’ll see both the API Key and API URL displayed. Click the Copy button next to each value to copy them for use in your integration. - Use the API Key and URL in Your Integration
Paste the copied API key and API URL into the appropriate fields of the tool or extension you are setting up.
That’s it! You’ve now successfully accessed your API key and API URL in ActiveCampaign.
For direct access, you can go to: https://youraccount.activehosted.com/admin/settings/developer
(Note: Replace “youraccount” with your ActiveCampaign account’s subdomain.)
